Oddball is an extraordinary movie including heaps of twists and many funny scenarios. This dog shows lots of courage and bravery for saving 100’s of penguins from foxes trying to kill them! This movie is definitely engaging and informative for people that have not watched it yet. It is incredible what a dog can do to help with tricky situations for humans and other animals like penguins. To a friend this movie is great but I think some bits of the movie could have been improved, in script and acting. To a friend I would rate this movie a solid 4/5.

 

Maremma Dogs are a breed of dogs that are born to protect. Usually chickens or sheep but this time Oddball went from protecting chickens to protecting penguins! Swampy knows that Oddball could do it, chickens are basically penguins in a suit… Right? Maremma Dogs usually weigh between 35kg – 45kg they are very strong and can take on anything as they used to hunt wolfs. Oddball did a great job of protecting the penguin colony, from when there was only 10 penguins on the island Oddball brought back the population to over 500 penguins.

 

Fairy penguins are a funny and very small type of penguin about the height of a ruler! Only found in the southern parts of South Australia and New Zealand. Fairy penguins weigh just 1kg! So they are pretty light and lean but still strong at the same time.
